Enter US on b1/b2 visa from China (after staying in 3rd Country)

Wanted to ask if anyone (originally from China or any country that was on the list of "Travelers Prohibited from Entry to the United States") has B1/B2 Visa has entered the US successfully after staying at a 3rd Country for 14 days or longer? What was your experience at the POE?

 

I am planning to have my mother in law (she has B2) to go to South Korea and stay for 14 days, and then fly to the US.

11/30/2015 - NOA2

02/23/2016 - Interview in Guangzhou

03/04/2016 - K1 Visa Received

AOS Timeline [5 Months]

04/11/2016 - Applied for SSN

04/18/2016 - Received SSN card in the mail

04/22/2016 - Applied for Learners Permit at DMV

05/05/2016 - Marriage

05/20/2016 - AOS & EAD & AP applications mailed via USPS priority mail

05/26/2016 - Check of $1070 fee for AOS (I-485) was cashed (NOA date)

05/31/2016 - Received 3 text messages from USCIS with 3 case numbers

06/03/2016 - Received 3 NOAs from USCIS in the mail

06/09/2016 - Passed driving road test

06/13/2016 - Received Biometrics appointment notice (notice date 6/4/16)

06/20/2016 - Received drivers license with Temp Visitor status in the mail (expires in 2020)

06/23/2016 - Biometrics appointment

08/16/2016 - EAD card is being produced (received text message update)

08/20/2016 - Received EAD & AP Combo card, also EAD&AP approval notice.

08/22/2016 - AOS status changed to "Card is being produced" and 5 hours later "Case Was Approved" !!!

08/25/2016 - AOS status "Card Was Mailed To Me"

08/27/2016 - Received green card in the mail!!!

ROC Timeline - [12 Months]

05/25/2018 - Mailed I-751 via USPS 

05/28/2018 - I-751 delivered at VSC

06/10/2018 - Check showing as pending in bank (posted on 6/11/18)

06/11/2018 - 12 months NOA received, dated 6/7/18

06/30/2018 - Bio Notice received, dated 6/22/18

07/06/2018 - Biometric done (walked in)

07/11/2018 - Scheduled Bio Appointment Date

08/13/2018 - 18 months NOA received, dated 8/6/18

08/22/2018 - GC Expires

05/23/2019 - New Card is being produced! (11 months 1 week 3 days since receipt date)

05/30/2019 - Card Was Delivered

05/24/2019 - Earliest Accepted Filing Date for N-400.

08/30/2022 - Filed N-400 online, eligibility basis = GC holder > 5 years.
