I feel like we both will be done by this Friday. They will resume normally from next week. This week will finish probably at least June 10th.

I dare not hope. So I'm telling myself next week at the earliest 😁  (reverse psychology)

That's awesome.  I think you were unique in that it seemed like you had one case affected by "the glitch"  and another that processed normally.  Hopefully the first DQ has been "holding the place in line" waiting for an interview.

My thoughts exactly. Thank you.

That's me right now 😖  Part of me can't wait to hear back from them next week.

Another part of me is dreading that they will somehow find something wrong/missing and make me wait another 6-7 weeks 😔😢

BUT AGAIN CONGRATS - this hell is over for you :D

Hell not over until you got visa on your hand 😄

For some people next stage is also looong wait.

So, if we spent the last month at a virtual standstill trying to clear the backlog of "glitch" affected cases which allegedly ran up until June 1? Do we now get a sudden "post glitch" bump forward in dates for cases cases submitted after June 10???

when i submitted documents the second time around its taken almost 2 months long. for some reason this months cases per week were only 2 days worth per week. thus having to wait almost 2 months. a total of 3 months delayed because of the first time NVC requested unnecessary documents. you know if you have an attorney you can ask your attorney to file for a mandamus lawsuit or ask your attorney about that if your case has been over 1 year

this is for everyone...../ if you have an attorney the better if you dont have an attorney you might need to get one.

IF YOUR CASE HAS BEEN STUCK IN NVC FOR OVER A YEAR LONG IT TIME TO GET YOUR ATTORNEY TO FILE FOR A MANDAMUS LAWSUIT.

for those who doesnt have an attorney you might want to start thinking of getting one if your case has been with the NVC over a year long.

please dont reply asking whats a mandamus lawsuit. google it up. its legit.

if your case has been stuck with NVC for over a year and you have an attorney i would double think what are you paying your an attorney for if they havent told you about this. i would start thinking of firing your attorney and maybe hiring a better one.

IF YOUR CASE HAS BEEN WITH NVC OVER A YEAR GET AN ATTORNEY OR HAVE YOUR ATTORNEY FILE FOR A MANDAMUS LAWSUIT.

this is not to get your case  approved this is only for getting your petition process out of NVC and continue with processing. ask your attorney about this. it doesnt hurt to ask your attorney

Thank you. We all here have normal case so far. We are just waiting few weeks longer than normal because of the glitch.

I check this thread at least 10x today... just to see if anyone from June 9th or 10th got DQ/reviewed. 🤓

May be too busy doing a happy dance

By the way, do you see yourself having a long wait for interview at your local embassy post-NVC?

I have an expedited request out there from June 30th. So im hoping it gets reviewed first now and I wont have to wait another 7 weeks for them to review my re submission. Who knows haha Goodluck to you!!!

So Expedite, if approved, doesn't speed up NVC.

My wife has an expedite approved on medical grounds under condition, that we get DQed.

Expedite comes without condition and with conditions.

so let's see this week or next week. Then I'll update how long it takes to get an interview with expedite.

Normal case, yes. My country had a lockdown and everything was shutdown for 2 months from April. So that's already 2 months backlog to regular wait of 2 months lol.

Still in a lockdown, but embassy seems to be operating.

My wife has a fibroid which is growing a little too fast, so had her expedite it with different reports we have over time. It got approved. Now just waiting on NVC and lets see how long it takes after that, hopefully gives me a date within a month.
