They haven't started June 20th yet. I've looked it up in a web archive and as of 2-AUG-2021, they were reviewing documents submitted to NVC on 9-JUN-2021.  As of 9-AUG-2021, they are reviewing documents submitted on 11-JUN-2021. It is very slow right now. Basically we are speaking about 2-3 days worth of case submission progress per week. It is just an estimate, but I would expect them to get to your case in around 3 weeks from now. But it is just an estimate based on the current speed. Just check their portal regularly for timeframes.

Wow!! So what about July 21st?? Should I wait another 6 weeks?

I am not an expert, but judging from my experience I would say just keep an eye on their time updates. Be prepared to wait that long, but hope for the faster processing. They just updated a time yesterday. Now it says " As of 16-AUG-2021, we are reviewing documents submitted to us on 15-JUN-2021". So basically they just moved through a few days. Also for anyone who just about to submit to NVC like triple check and even quadruple check that you didn't make any mistakes anywhere. If you make a mistake you have to fix it and resubmit and it basically puts you again in the end of the line, which with current processing times won't be good. My mistake was to submit a form that was expired by couple of days. I was preparing that form months in advance and didn't notice it was expiring and they had a new form. I had to wait another month. But back then they were processing much faster than now. Not sure why such a slowdown.

I sent in my request July 22nd! Is like everything is slow!!

Yes, because just like you and me, everyone requesting expedite. Most people are not qualified but they still give it a shot, so that slowing down the process.

If covid didn't happen and everything worked normally, even I wouldn't need a expedite. I would be there in US with my husband.

You are so right, I am so happy for you that yours was approved. May I asked did you get a lawyer to have your paperwork expedited?

I send documents on June 20 and there is no result for 9 weeks already ... I did not send for acceleration, I did not do it.  I'm still waiting

Wow really? They said you will get an answer in 30 days. Now with the war in Afghanistan (God be with them) there will be more of families Expediting.

No, Medical reasons.

1. Doctor Note

2. Reports

3. Husband wrote the email with some strong emotional words

Hopefully! We resubmitted for a 3rd time June 24th. Really hoping to hear something by the end of next week.

Really missing my family and can’t wait to get back to work. My stomach has been bubbling due to nerves the past couple weeks 😬

I'm grateful to be living with my husband and in a safe country, I know not everyone can say the same, but my nervous system isn’t sharing the same logic as my brain right now🙄😅

hopefully we’re all approved soon!

Well this last week there was certainly more chatter then we have seen in a while from people whos document were being reviewed.  It kind of feels like there may have been some meaningful progress this week compared to the last couple of months.  I saw reported quite a few June 15 through June 17.  A handful of June 18 through June 20.  I think one June 21, one June 23, and one June 27.  But then I also know of a fair number  of June 21+ cases that remain unreviewed, of course including our June 25 resubmission so I will  count those as outliers.  So given what information I have managed to scrape up, for wagering purposes, I'm placing my bet on this Mondays posted "reviewing date" being,,,, June 21.  Which would put our case within striking distance next week.

Hi guys

So I know this is for June submissions and I just submitted yesterday but I have a couple of questions:

1. I submitted on a Sunday, will that push my submission date to the next business day?

2. Does the country you're doing the interview from have any effect on how fast your papers get reviewed? Or are they all in one big pile and they just go -mostly- in order?

3. I (the petitioner) have been living abroad for 17 years and don't have any tax info because my income was insufficient to apply for taxes. I have a joint sponsor (my uncle) and I'm planning to relocate with my husband as soon as he gets his visa. Will this affect our case at all? Will cause us to be delayed?

4. Do they send the email to both of our emails or just the beneficiary?

There will eventually be (if not already) a August 2021 submission thread.

1. Probably yes, in reality the fact you submitted on the Sun probably isn't going to have a a noticeable effect, i would use the following day as a guide.

2. Nope, the documents are all generally reviewed by submission date and are all in one queue, note that once reviewed if you need to resubmit you go back to the end of this queue (with the new submission date being the date of your most recent uploaded document). Once Documentarily Qualified (DQ'd) you will then wait for your local embassy to notify the NVC that there are interview slots available, and then you will get a Interview letter(IL) , the backlog at your embassy will effect how long you need to wait till you get the IL, for some embassies this has been over a year.

3. Won't be an issue as long as your have summitted all the correct documents, which differ on a case by case basis, usually you would need to show that the petitioner has every intention of moving back to the US, for example in our case we submitted a notarised affidavit swearing to the intent of moving back to the US and providing document to support this (US job applications/offers, US flights etc). What these may look for you is on a case by case basis.

4. Not sure, I imagine they will send the email to all of the contact email addresses registered in CEAC.

If you have more questions around the process / procedures I would recommend you start your own thread in the appropriate forum, there is the IR1/CR1 procedures forum, and the general NVC one.
