Glad this thread was created! We started our process with the NVC in early April 😅 I made a small error in the beginning that set us back, then they approved 80% of our documents, let them sit there for 5 weeks of so, then rejected all of our joint sponsors saying I filled at the wrong form (even though a previous worker had approved majority of their documents 🙄) and also they weren't convinced I was planning to be re-domiciled in the US, so I had to provide additional evidence. So our most recent submission date is June 24th.

I saw they just updated the timeframe that they are reviewing documents from June 6th today. Looking forward to seeing when everyone in this thread gets their documents approved! Hoping this will be our last resubmisson😊

same number... I call few time at once then try again another time of the day.

(603) 334-0700 This is the number I used. Is there another number or is there a best time to call?

We submitted documents on June 1 for foster children and on June 4 for me. On July 24, was asked for a second certificate from the police (sent on the same day). The children's cases are still quiet and we do not understand why.Maybe they are reviewing the children's case after the approval of the main applicant? Who has any thoughts on this? They called the nvc, the girl was very nervous  and the answer to the questions about the children's case and mine said wait 60 days. Sorry for my english.😊

How long did the process of approving the documents of the NVC take?

As of August 9th 2021, NVC was processing documents submitted on June 11, 2021.

Here is the page https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/nvc-timeframes.html

Check the "Current case review time" section. They update those time frames weekly usually on Monday. It means that starting Monday they will start reviewing cases after June 11th. The speed depends on the NVC backlog I guess. Earlier in the year they have been reviewing 2 weeks worth of cases in 1 week of time. It might have got slower by now. I have DQ'ed back in May. Waiting for interview to be scheduled. You will also get notifications to your email once they process your case.

They haven't started June 20th yet. I've looked it up in a web archive and as of 2-AUG-2021, they were reviewing documents submitted to NVC on 9-JUN-2021.  As of 9-AUG-2021, they are reviewing documents submitted on 11-JUN-2021. It is very slow right now. Basically we are speaking about 2-3 days worth of case submission progress per week. It is just an estimate, but I would expect them to get to your case in around 3 weeks from now. But it is just an estimate based on the current speed. Just check their portal regularly for timeframes.

latest update to NVC time frames, 4 days instead of 1 or 2 is promising but not the jump most of us have been hoping I think.

Current case review time: As of 16-AUG-2021, we are reviewing documents submitted to us on 15-JUN-2021

- Good luck.

So I'm calling again today. First call, the usual line busy. So hung up and called again.. now I'm waiting.

I'm gonna call them once a week until they send over my file. IDK the point of expedite then. 🤨

I can understand if Embassy makes me wait due to Expedite backlog, but file still remaining with NVC, I don't understand.

They don't clearly tell you what they are planning to do..

I saw a June 28 and a June 18 DQ yesterday.  Though I know of allot of other June 20's that are not reviewed including my June 25.  But there does seem to be a promising anecdotal trend this week.

Hope your gets DQ by this Fri. The wait sucks.

Now I'm calling once a week since DQ to send my files over lol. They are supposed to send immediately. One of the rep told me b4 DQ since mine is expedited.
