Yes, still sitting at NVC with no word since DQ email. My understanding is that you first receive an email with the interview date from NVC and then the case is sent to the Consulate shortly after that. It might be different for expedites though. Do you know if there’s usually much of a wait at your embassy/consulate?

Embassy was closed April & May. So all those interviews were rescheduled. So some backlog there.

I suppose it's possible there's a short queue of expedited cases as well in that case, but at least you won't have to wait through the full backlog.

I called yesterday 85 min wait time. Lady was not helpful. She said she doesn't know when my case will be transferred. I didn't want to argue... I mean we expedite for reasons, some of us have urgent needs.

Not being satisfied, I called again today, 82 min wait time. She heard my case, went and talked to the supervisor, came back saying, case is in line to be transferred and I'll be notified when it is transfer, so some hope and maybe I'll see an update within next week :)

Hello,

Got a review of my case yesterday, submitted on June 13th (I need some additional documents).

I had to resubmit 3x... luckily my 2nd submission was reviewed in 2 weeks. Best of luck! This time make sure you do some research too and submit everything they asks for

Yes hopefully it won't take too long for the 2nd review.

The main issue is to show domicile in the US for the petitionner.

Hi, I had the same problem. I never knew I needed to submit proof. I’m still waiting for my resubmission to be reviewed, but to show that I intend to be re-domiciled I showed my US bank account, my voters registration, and a job offer.

hopefully this is the last submission for both of us!

I keep saying, go figure all of my husbands documents are approved but it’s me getting denied by my own country 🙄🙄😂😂

When was your last re-submission? I'm hoping 2-weeks review time for all of us! Hoping that since summer is [sort-of] winding down that their processing speed will be back up soon!

June 24th, assuming things are speeding back up, I still probably have at least a couple weeks😬

 @EKT

Does your status still says AT NVC?

I called b4 DQ, said they will send my file immediately since it's expedited.

I called again today, this rep told me they don't know when it will be send.

Sorry what number are you using to call NVC because every time I call I get hang up on by the Automated service! 😡

Well.  Time again for wagering on Monday’s new processing date.  Place your bets folks.  Now looking at the results for this week, that I was able to find, I see the two cases here and at least two cases from other sources with documents that were submitted June 13, being reviewed on Wednesday August 11.  That represents 2 solid days of progress by NVC in just 2 days from last Mondays June 11 review date.  I’m confident about those dates and it is lightning-fast reviewing speed from NVC by recent standards.   The situation after Wednesday August 11 becomes much murkier.  I found an outlier on Thursday Aug 12 where documents submitted June 23 were reviewed.  A found several cases of June 14 and 15 submissions that are NOT yet reviewed.  Mostly it has been very very quiet since Wednesday.  Also affecting my cases specifically, I saw flurry of a several DQ’ed cases get Interview letters for US Embassy Manila with June and July dates near my wife’s DQ date of July 9.  I’m thinking they are caught up on spousal interviews in Manila, though the K1 interview situation there remains apocalyptic.  That also implies that the delayed review of my step daughters document resubmitted June 25 is actually costing us time now and made both of them miss this round of interview letters.

In any case I’m placing my wagers on this Mondays reviewing date being...….. June 15.

When I called the NVC two days ago using the 0700 number, I was cut off after the 50 seconds plus announcement for ten times before finally getting a true ring and being inserted into a real queue, I held the phone for 121 minutes, before talking to a real person.  The representative was calm and courteous at least and helped resolve some of the doubt for me on my wife's case.

So, the advice is, keep trying after being cut off after the announcement, and you will be connected when a slot opens up.  Patience is the only prescription for the this process.

Hope you get through and talk to a rep.
