Hello all, i hope you are all doing ok at whichever stage of the process you are at. My wife and i are in the process of completing our applications for I130 (for myself and our three children). Our children are adopted so the question we have is, even though the children are all under ten and have legally been adopted by ourselves with new names do we have to put down there birth names for the "previous name's" question? I really hope we dont as those names do not exist legally anymore (in the UK) so i dont see the need.

I thought it asked for previous names and aliases?

They are needed.  They are aliases.   They have historical significance, imo.   I would list them.

@Boiler Yea that's the one question we mean. I thought it meant previous marriages or name changes as an adult but want to be sure.

I don't believe there is an age limit for anyone that has legally changed their name.  Therefore I agree, previous names should be listed in the appropriate section of the I130.

As with everything read the question as written and I am not aware of any mention of age.

It is any name under which the person has been known at any stage in their lives. So yes, list them.
