It has now been 8 months since I filed for my AOS and EAD/AP.

I checked the case status today for my i485 and it says that as of Feb 19th, my case is ready to be scheduled for an interview. It's June now and I have not received anything in the mail in regards for an interview. Yet when I check the case status for my i765, it still just says received.

I tried calling USCIS to inquire about what's going on or what I should expect, and I keep getting the automated voice service.

Does anyone know if this is normal? Why would it say case ready to be scheduled for an interview in Feb and I haven't received anything yet and its now June?

It sounds normal.  Your local office will schedule your interview at some point.  "Ready to be scheduled for an interview" does not mean there is an immediate slot available.

To talk to a human at USCIS, ask for "technical assistance" at each prompt.  It will connect you to a real person.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

Currently taking around 8-9 months to even get EAD/ AP. Best to be patient

Immigration journey is not: fast, for the faint at heart, easy, cheap, for the impatient nor right away. If more than 50% of this applies to you, best get off the bus.

@Catalyst2020 the status "Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview" just means that your filing is complete, it is not missing anything, and it is ready for the next step.

It all depends upon your field office now. You can check the processing times for your local field office here https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/ Select I-485 and then your local field office.
