On May 11th I submitted all documents requested by the NVC.  I am a petitioner living abroad and my husband is the beneficiary.   As per the NVC timeline, they are reviewing all petitions submitted after May 17th.  To this day that status of all the documents sent still reads "submitted".  Nothing has been reviewed nor accepted.  Furthermore, I never recieved a confirmation of receipt from the NVC nor do I know if they even send something like that.  I feel like were were left in limbo considering most people get an updated status, even if its a document that was not accepted.  We have absolutely nothing and we have check dozens of times and everything they requested from us has been sent and submitted.   Can anyone give me guidance as to what to do next?  Thanks in advance!

Hello, NVC answered back a couple of days ago and they requested more documents so I guess it will be another waiting game.  I wonder how they arrange the pending petitions that were reviewed but still need a couple of more documents....just exactly how much longer is the wait?  Is it like starting all over again (same timeline as the first time submission)?

Do you believe calling will help? I called, they told that they see I overdue and told that redirected to supervisor. And I am sure that I will wait another month for response no matter how much I am overdue. Today 46 days passed since submission.

If calling and logging a report through NVC's public inquiry form have not helped your case, the next thing you can try is to contact your congressperson for help.  You will still have to wait, though.  And there's no guarantee that the congressperson will get a better result than you did.

So you received response submitted on May 11th, I submitted on May 8th no response. I really don’t know what can help me. I talked to representative and still nothing. This is so frustrating

I called yesterday. Just need to understand how much time I need to wait before trying again. My inquiry also not processed because the review time for inquiry is 2 weeks ahead from now

The waiting time for resubmission is the same as a new submission.

Our submission date is exactly the date posted this week on the NVC timeframes page, so we're giving them another week until we start calling.  No change to our document status as well.  Still says "Submitted" for all of them.

Any word yet?  I figure my cases must be just a couple days behind yours.  We are also stuck on "submitted" well after the current case review time listed on their timeframes site.

Still no change.  My USC spouse has been trying to call NVC since yesterday but hasn't been able to get through.

This is crazy. Just called them today. Fortunately took me 5 minutes to get through. Asked again. The agent told that there was a massive system glitch and my documents submitted on May 8th are shown as submitted on May 20th. But 2 days before I also called and my documents were shown as 8th of May. They have created a note that they overdue. This is really very strange. Also I didn’t receive any confirmation that my documents are fully submitted, but I CEAC all the documents are displayed as “submitted”

Finally some update on their little meltdown.  It says documents summited from May 4 until June 10 were affected.  I guess it sucks to be us. It says it's fixed now,  however my documents still aren't reviewed.  We'll see.  I tried calling.  Took about 10 times before it wouldn't hang up on me and then I held for 45 minutes but since I have a job I do not have unlimited time to commit to the calling effort so I had to give up.  I'll try again later.

Documents submitted via CEAC between 4-MAY-21 and 10-JUN-21 were delayed in getting to NVC's systems.

Resolved! You do not need to take any additional action and do not need to re-upload the documents unless specifically directed to do so by NVCNVC's review of these documents may be delayed.

Looking at all the recent cases I can find reported here and elsewhere, anecdotally it seems like they are currently reviewing more like in the May 10 to 14 range and are taking more like 6 weeks to review cases than the 4 weeks they are reporting.  Although there are some major exceptions longer or shorter, I can find kind of a cluster of cases approved yesterday and today where people reported they summited or resubmitted May 10 to 14 and a few more in that range not reviewed yet.  I'm thinking if you just subtract two weeks from where they say they are, you have a much more accurate idea of where they actually are.  With an added factor of occasional randomization of course.
