Hi! After not finding much in the country portal, I'm curious if anyone else is waiting on an interview for their parents in Honduras?

We are still waiting for my husband's parents to be DQ'ed, so it will be a good long while for us.

Wondering if anyone has recently interviewed and what the process was like? Or what month they might be on for interviews at this time? TY!

Hi, me and my wife are currently waiting for an interview date with the US embassy in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. We are applying for IR5 Visa. NVC validated my wife's documents since February and no interview date so far.

We have contacted the embassy first and they stated that they still have not received the case documents from NVC. Afterwards, we contacted the NVC and they told us that they are working with the embassy to schedule an appointment. So I dont know what else to do at this point.

reading your post am guessing multiple applicants are in the same position as us regarding the embassy interview delay.

keep me posted if you have any luck

Hi David! Is it a CR-1 visa for your wife? Or IR-5 for her parents?

After a long wait, my husband's parents documents finally became DQ'ed by the NVC today! Sounds like we'll be in for a long wait if you've been waiting since February - like you said, I'm sure everyone is in the same boat. According to the visa bulletin, they don't seem to be issuing too many IR-5 visas at this point.

Keep me posted as well to your progress! Wishing you a speedy interview scheduling.
