Hi all, for all people needing help with this topic

I  have read that you could add like 3 or 4 max. write 3 of the 4 and in the 4rth one write the month and the year you turned 16 in . You will start by the first one writing the address before your current address then, the next one , then the 3rd one and in the 4rth one write from the year and month you turned 16 in . Example: you were  born in February 1980 . you will right from FEB 1996 to the address of the 3rd one . for example : from feb 1996 to 2010 .second one 2010 to 2015 and the third one from 2015 to 2018 and from 2018 to your current address save your work so it doesn't make a gap and then come back and so on till you finish all your addresses  . if you didn't understand pls don't hesitate to text me in private.

You might want to wait until you fill out a DS-260 before giving "advice".

You submit ALL addresses on the DS-260 online.   For Previous address you select Yes and then add more for each additional.   My wife had about 10 when we filed.

in this years ds 260 people are having a problem, if you add more than 5 panels  it kickes you out of the site and you need to log in again so that wont be possible

Kicking out was not because of the reason you said but technical issues due to the volume of visitors. It was kicking me out when I was entering parent details, previous experience, and education. You must enter all previous addresses since you reached the age of 16.

Incorrect.  You must list all address at which you reside since you were sixteen. The site is time based so

it will close you out after around 20 minutes if you haven’t saved the updates during that time .. the trick is to save the updates after each address entry ….

Hi all,

I am filling the ds and in the previous places you have visited i stated that i lived in dubai uae from 2004 to 2017 but with small vacations to my home country between the 13 years. I was married in 2006 at my home country on one of those vacations. Will i have to show that i visited my home country for the marriage? or just leave it as it is and they will understand

Thanks for reading

I'd suggest you put at least one trip where you got married. I'm assuming your spouse will be immigrating as well with you in which case the CO will have a good look on the marriage certificate. It'll at least avoid the questioning by the CO on "how you can be married in one country when you were living in another country". Then you gotta explain about the short trip and such. It's easier to avoid such explanation by listing it on DS260.

Spouse:

I’m not clear, is this asking you for places you lived, or for everywhere you went on vacation? I don’t understand the comment above if it was the former, and I don’t remember an “all your travels to anywhere in the world” question on the DS260. It is not at all unusual for people to get married on vacation in a different country and it barely requires more than a sentence of explanation in an interview imo.

Probably a few months. You have quite a high number and the fiscal year doesn’t even start for a few months yet. There is no rush, you would probably only interview sometime close to the middle of next year.
