We got our interview scheduled for June 21st 2021, got married June 21 2019..no reason for delay except living in California!

I can't find the gov page saying what happens in this situation, some VisaJourney threads say as long as it's not scheduled before 2 years it's ok..

Does that ring true anywhere officially, or does anyone remember the exact wording of this rule? It seems almost like an unspoken, probably to deter reschedules lol!

I tried to check here: https://www.boundless.com/immigration-resources/adjustment-status-process-explained/

ps: of course they schedule us on our 2 year anniversary, smack dab in the middle of our first camping trip/vacation since 2019...!!! It worked out we found another site but wow USCIS way to ruin our anniversary, now we will spend it in a scary gov building proving our love for each other lol...

Here you go.  https://www.uscis.gov/green-card/after-we-grant-your-green-card/conditional-permanent-residence/removing-conditions-on-permanent-residence-based-on-marriage

Your permanent resident status is conditional if it is based on a marriage that was less than two years old on the day you became a permanent resident.

Since you would be married for 2 years on the day of the interview, you would get a 10 years green card.  You would not be married for less than 2 years on the day of your 2nd anniversary.

Oh boy what a timing 😂 but hey, at least you won't have to do ROC and can spend the saved money in two years for another vacation 😁
