I got issued an RFE in March. To this day I have not managed to get the actual RFE or a copy. I did an inquiry online, called uscis, and spoke to a Tier 2 person. They said my file says an RFE has been sent but they don't have a copy of it, so they sent my a request to the Texas field office. They now sent me an email saying they're investigating the situation and I'll hear back within 60 days (seriously, how hard is it to resend an RFE?). Even with the covid extension I have to reply by next week. My guess is that they want copies of tax transcripts but for all I know they want something completely different. I'd like to at least send something. Maybe tax transcripts along with a letter explaining the situation and copies of my interactions with USCIS. Does anyone know where I would send my RFE response? I know for sure my case is at the Texas Service Center but I obviously don't have an address. I'm just worried that if I don't send anything I''ll automatically get a NOID which would obviously complicated things.

Was the RFE in email?

how do you know you have to respond by next week?

Nope, unfortunately I haven't been able to even get an email copy. I assumed I would get 30 days to respond to the RFE. That plus the 60 days from the extension makes it due next week.

You can see the Texas center address here for instance(Where to file link->second block): https://www.uscis.gov/i-865

Try sending them a letter with additional I-751 proof with ATTN: RFE

The typical time to respond is about 87 days, but USCIS will sometimes put a different specific date.

Let's hope so. In that case I'd still have another 2 months left.
