Thanks for the update and please do let us know how it goes.  We have very few reports of SB1 cases here.  Yours would be good reference for VJ readers.

Most of the ones I see are denied. This one looks like it is heading for approval. Nitas_man got approved too.

It is risky to go now after submitting SB1 application. There is no statement declared that but it is no recommended.

The choice of appearing @ POE and check the possibility to get admitted should be taken before applying for SB1 visa.

Wish you the best 👍

Hi @ModernFamily - My parents are on the same boat as you and have their SB1 interview in Mumbai in about 4 weeks. Did they ask you to fill out a new DS 260? What all documents did you take with you for the first interview? My parents are going to take the medical exam and police verification before they go for SB1. Do you think that would help? Thanks in advance!

For the first appointment we brought the DS117, green cards (+copies), passports (+copies) and supporting documents showing our ties to the US and reasons for the delayed return. Right after the first appointment they gave us further instructions. These included the DS260, passport photos and police certificate. With all of these completed we could go ahead and request the second appointment. This is where we are now - waiting for the second appointment. The appointment checklist says instructions for the medical exam will come after we have received the second appointment date. I think you need this appointment letter to complete the medical exam, but maybe the process is different in other countries.
