I know people who do it, but it is an expensive lifestyle.  Usually the successful ones have family in both places to help with the homes.

However, once your son is school age, it is much harder unless you homeschool.  We met a Filipina here recently who is homeschooling her daughter using a U.S. based homeschool accreditation.

Indeed.. we have relatives and caretaker here,  house is brand new and in a tourist area,  if I get any rent its fine,  I can afford it..  however I won't buy in Florida anyway right now it is more cost effective to rent, I can rent a beach house for a $1000 as an example vs $600,000 to buy it.  Here our home is going up in value especially with materials going up.

I'll see how it goes with the petition and maybe rethink.
