My fiancé had his interview on April 29,2021, which I was present, during the interview the officer asked him if he ever got arrested he answer and said yes for weed when he was much younger in his teen but I wasn't aware of it so on the application I said no anyway she was very nice to us. But my question is will it affect him even though she ask us to provide the court documents for the case and he also had a clean police record, She also said because I came she didn't need to question the relationship and she gave us 221 g form to provide additional documents that we didn't have. Today he went to do his medical because it was done and I checked the status, so when I checked the status I saw one that said refuse and another that said ready does anyone knows what does this mean I'm worried

**Update** Actually disregard this stuff and contact the embassy.  if they say you are in Admin processing, then wait it out.  If they say you are going in for a second interview, then go for that.  But i would also double check your entire case # to make sure you are looking at the correct one.  It might be a chance that 01 and 02 are yours and just in different issuing states but i would make sure.

yes we submitted every document that was required yesterday and do you know when will we hear something back

At this point, no.  Sometimes they are quick to decide, sometimes they take a week, sometimes longer.  Unfortunately it is kind of like the RFE before a NOA-2 where you are waiting and hoping they process sooner than later.

But, there is sun shining through the clouds.  Look how far you are in comparison to people like me.  You are right there at the awesome part.  You made it this far.  Just keep hanging in there and don't lose hope!

today the courier service send an email that he should pick up his passport but yet still his status has no change to say whether his visa is approve or deny, should I be worried

Grab the information from the courier.  That is really the only way to find out the results.  For me, I would think positive until I see the results in hand.  Try not to dwell on all the possibilities because the answer is a courier post away.  I'm hoping for the best for both of you.

I'm very depressed, because he didn't get through they turn him down because of the weed and they said he needs to apply for a visa waiver, does everyone know if it works and what is the process. I really love my fiancé and I want him to be here with me

Do you think I should get married to him and file the I 130 form for a green card instead

You will need a good attorney to file a waiver. This isn't something to do on your own. It's better to file for a spousal visa because you can appeal a denial while you cannot do that with a K-1. However, just because you file for spousal, doesn't mean the need for a waiver goes away. They can still deny him. You need to consult with an experienced attorney. I heard Liz Cannon is good for cases like these>

He has a mandatory ban for one year, and will have to go through drug testing every 3 months to have a clean report.  Furthermore, you need to hire an attorney for the drug charges.  Marijuana is still illegal in Jamaica and in the US.  Yes LIz Cannon is well versed in legal process for JA immigrants.  It will be several years and a costly process before he will immigrate.  You do not have to worry that she she does not live in your state that does not matter.  @LionessDeon is a good reference for this.  Getting married does not change that he has drug charges.
