Hello VJ members,

Today my case has been approved.  Here is the timeline so after all transfer is not such a bad thing even if it is Vermont.

Filed I-130 on 2/16/2021

Case upgraded- 7/7/2021  (US Citizen)

Case Approved- 6/9/2021

It still says 'in Review' but when I look at my documents tab, I see 'Approval notice'. So 113 days.  So guys there is a hope for everyone with transfer notice. Processing time USCIS shows is awful especially for Vermont and CSC

Great! Congratulations! Thank you sharing your information, very useful… may I ask when did you get your case “under active review”? 6/7/21?

Best regards.

It got 'under review' today actually.

This gives me some hope! I see you filed other things as well last year according to your timeline?

We filed i130 in February 2021, a few weeks after you!

We were originally sent to Nebraska on our NOA1, but the live agent etc say Vermont. Heres to hoping that my case will have an update soon!!

Yes I had filed for my citizenship on 2020 also. I'm pretty sure transfer was actually done to balance the workload and you will hopefully have update very soon.  I was occupied with immigration from 2020-2021. Now trying to focus on NVC stage.

Oh I understand now. I always assume anyone I'm seeing online in the forums etc is the beneficiary.

My husband is a born citizen... we are hoping that June brings us good news. ❤️

Plenty of us petitioners in these forums as well...

Congrats, @mycase17. Obviously each case is different but this type of data point is why the average  processing times shown on VisaJourney don’t seem to differ all that much from one center to another overall, in spite of the big difference between centers in the USCIS estimates. Of course, the data is only as good as the number of users who update their timelines.

Thank you. I searched Vermont in this forum because I was concerned when I called today and found out that we were moved from Nebraska to Vermont. I'm hoping that move only speeds up the process. We applied a month ago with no progress so far.

At least give 3-4 months before or even before any movement. In my case, I think Upgrade from F2A to CR1 trigger for them to take a look.
