Hello Everyone, Listen I am having trouble figuring out what amount I should put in Question 23 of the I864, its asking for MY current individual annual Income. How do I do this if the year is not done yet? What other put or what should I do?

If you are a salaried employee, this is the amount of money your employer contracted to pay you anualy before taxes, have your employer make out a letter indicating this.

Basically, your employer letter should state "To whom it may concern: (first name,last name) has been employed

full-time with the XYZ Company since 200_ as a (name of your job), and is an employee in good standing with an

annual salary of $XXXX. Signed, John Doe, Supervisor (or whatever title)" The letter should be on company

letterhead.

Another way to show this is to include recent pay stubs, just take the average amount paid before taxes, and multiply by 52 if paid weekly, or 26 if paid bi-weekly.

23. Current Individual Annual Income.

Enter your current individual earned or retirement annualincome that you are using to meet the requirements of this form and indicate the total on this line.

You may include evidence supporting your claim about your expected income for the current year if you believe that submitting this evidence will help you establish ability to maintain sufficient income. You are not required to submit this evidence, however, unless specifically instructed to do so by a Government official. For example, you may include a recent letter from your employer, showing your employer's address and telephone number, and indicating your annual salary. You may also provide pay stub(s) showing your income for the previous six months. If your claimed income includes alimony, child support, dividend or interest income,or income from any other source, you may also include evidence of that income.

Take your past 6 months pay stubs, and average the gross income paid during each pay period and multiply by 26 or 52, this will give you a fair estimate of annual income.

We used I-864EZ for AOS, because my income exceeds 125%, dont need to use assets, and not using any joint sponsor. I-864EZ is simpler to understand and fill out.

There are any number of ways to do this. I don't have a salary. I work on commission. So, I put the gross income from last years tax return. I think that is the most common answer. However, if you got a raise, put your new annual salary. If you were a student or otherwise unemployed part or all of last year, you're going to want to annualize your current income instead.

I suggest you do it the way it makes you look best, so long as it is truthful and can be supported by evidence when asked.

You can put your current salary/wage. If you work full time, then you are expected to work 2080 hours for the year. So multiply your hourly wage by 2080, if you are paid by hourly wage. If you are paid by salary, then you should know what is your current yearly salary. Ask your HR, if you are not sure.

I get paid hourly so I took that # and multiplied it by 2080 (working hours for 1 year), then I put that total on question 23.
