I'm having some testing and hoping for the best. But if I should have a protracted illness, would the embassy expedite my fiancee's visa to care for me?

At this point, with the insane backlogs at the Manila Embassy, it doesn't hurt to try. I'm hoping for the best for your health situation.

I suppose it depends on your condition, and if you can prove your claim to their satisfaction. But, according to their guidelines, certain health conditions of the petitioner could qualify for an expedite.

I chatted with a girl who US Fiance applied and was denied, so he applied again and this time he claimed it was causing him mental issues due to the surgery and was approved.

So I guess it's best to also mention it causing mental issues such as : Depression, Anexiety, etc to help support the expedite.
