London Embassy F2A category waiting for interview

Hi! We got DQ’d July 21, 2020. Anybody here waiting for an interview schedule at London US embassy under F2A category? What is your status so far? Thank you.

 

The last email that I received from NVC was the Case Status Update to wait 120 days.

We have f4a and DQ 23/4/2021 

Big backlog so not expecting interview this summer .

In your case ,if govt remove restriction on 21st (less chances ) then things should speed up as case worker can increase .

They need to use technology and start online interviews .

Hello Yownie. We are currently waiting for an interview at London F2a, there are very few of us here, looking at previous years visa statistics (pre covid) only approx 50 f2a visa per year. So I’m hoping when they do get around to us, it shouldn’t take to long to clear the backlog. but I believe embassy is to prioritise citizen visas first. 
I know of two other F2a visas who are waiting too. Fingers crossed 🤞

Hi @Freebull thank you! Yeah, same here F2A waiting for an interview. What is your PD and when did get documentarily qualified? I know an F2a group where London is their embassy. Around 10 of us there. If you want to join, let me know. Nobody received an interview letter yet. There are 2018 PDs and DQ’d starting first quarter of 2020.

PD 7th Aug 2019, and DQ 3rd May 2021.  Ohh I would love for you to add me to the group, It’s so good to know we’re not alone, this has been a painful process!!

I am the LPR, UK citizen, hubby of 15years is waiting in UK. I do wonder at times,

why we are doing this to ourselves 🤔

F3 here ,but good to know how the F2a will be progressing towards an interview and their experiences moving forward

Do we know anyone F2,F3,F4  get interview in London in 2021 and when was his/her DQ ,they schedule interview only on the basis of DQ  not PD.

Hi! Sorry. I do not know any. True, interviews are scheduled based on DQ.

I have not heard any yet who had an interview under F2a that was not expedited. I heard one but it was an approved expedited request. So basically, no one was given an f2a interview yet under normal processing.
