Change from refused to Administrative processing

My status has changed from refused to administrative processing and I received no emails from the embassy after 10 days. They don't respond to my emails as well. What is it like? a positive thing?

When was your interview?Any update? Im kind of in the same boat. Interview on the 7th on June, kept my passport ceac status say refused as of the 7th.... waiting on feedback.  its been 10 days. the waiting sucks balls.

If they kept your passport, what is your concern then? My interview was 3 years ago!!

Damn 3yrs. wow! Theyve kept my passport before after an interview. went under AP. last time they kept it for 6 months before i asked for it back because i wanted to go on vacation and i stayed under AP for another 7 months until i was denied. We all try to figure out what everything means but keeping a passport doesnt mean anything. Whats your story? Is it stull under AP?

It was showing refused until May. Changed to AP until yesterday and it changed back to refused again. I thought if they get the passport it means they are going to affix a stamp on it.

Not always. This time he told me at the interview that my app was not approved nor denied and he took my passport. thats it. i didnt get a 221g letter of anything so... i dont know whats going on. just waiting.

So your status is AP or refused or issued?

right now its refused, last updated the day of my interview.

yeah multiple times throughout my life. last was at uni doing my degree. came back 2014. what did you apply for?
