I received email from embassy to submit 2nd medical after my mom case  IR5 category in Ap from 2019.does anyone know how long does it take to get visa issue after submitting the medical. Does anyone have the same situation plz share.

Hi everyone, we submitted the 2nd medical for my mother last week after that dates changed twice on her case but status still say refused. Can anyone shared what does that mean or after this how long does it take for visa to be issued?

Don't worry,she will be issued a visa. Each time they request a different medical, it because they don't want the one that was submitted to expire before she enters US. That happened to my husband and I.  Good luck! Still waiting to hear from NVC after submitting documents for my mom's visa

Allhumdulliha my mom status changed to issued on july 12. Does anyone know in how many days she will received her passport? And after that how many days its take to get the green card after arrival?

It can vary from a few weeks to months.

 

But her CBP-endorsed IR-5 visa is her I-551 document while she waits: https://www.uscis.gov/i-9-central/temporary-i-551-stamps-and-mrivs

 My mother came on immigrant visa IR category. Allhumdulliha everything was good officer didn't ask anything at the airport but they didn't took her finger prints. Are they not taking fingerprints anymore ? Or will it delay her green card process?

My parents came a week ago. No fingerprints taken at POE, only pictures. My guess is they will use the fingerprints taken at the interview.

Congratulations! Please tell us when was her priority date and documentary qualified date; so we can make sense how far my dad status will be! Many thanks

Her Priority daye was September 18 2018, documents qualifying date was May 29 2019. Her interview was at November 2019, at that time they kept her passport and only asked for more pic with me at the time of interview. Then covid happened after that they issued her visa on july 12 2021 ...
