Hello! I entered the US with K1 Visa, got my green card which is a 10 year. i know it should have been a 2 year conditional green card only. I will be filing to lift the conditions in Sept as it will be two yrs already this Dec. Should I file an I90(which takes 6months) or should I just submit my application to lift the conditions witj my 10 year gc?

File i90 first to get corrected GC, it should have been done long ago but never late. Your i751 may get rejected due to 10 year GC if you don't do with i90 first.

Thank you. It has an IF1 category on the card, wouldn’t that help to avoid rejection on the I751 process?

IF1 simply means you took the fiance visa route to get the GC, nothing to do with i751.
The best is file i90 online asap.

Thank you.

I filed it already. Hopefully they will see it as there’s nothing to fill out which is wrong in the green card

I hope you picked the correct application category.

You will need to mail your GC at some point. I believe you will find such instructions in your online portal.

I did, there’s only one reason to pick error on their part. I uploaded the copy of my gc.

You need to mail the original GC as well. Usually there should be two locations to pick error on their part, one by LPRs and one by conditional residents. You would pick the section on conditional resident part. Like in paper filing, the reason is the same but you wud be picking 3d as opposed to 2d. Not sure if it's same online.

I think you should complete the missing bits in your timeline:

* date of marriage

* adjustment of status approval date

before concluding you have the wrong type of green card
