Confusion on where I-130 application is

We are waiting for approval of I-130 application. Filed oct 15 and receipt on Oct31,2020. Mailed receipt says Texas, but when check status on- line says Nebraska. It is over the 7 month processing time for Nebraska . The on line system tells us the case is in Nebraska officially and we can see that it’s over the processing time, but the system won’t let us create an inquiry saying we are within the processing times. Would this mean the application is really in Texas where the processing time is up to 10 1/2 months?But why does the online system say Nebraska? We hope it isn’t lost!

Hi there, it's not lost. All online receipts say Nebraska. Even the mailed receipts come from all over the place. You can check with Ask emma and say "live agent" or call USICS to see where its located. They don't update you if it has moved. IE - mine online says Nebraska and my receipt is from Nebraska but I checked and its at Potomac. No notification whatsoever. It's probably in Texas (but you can ask to check), and you will have to just wait. Not sure why everyone's says Nebraska online, I think that's the pre-processing center and they never update it. ❤️
