the POE doesn't matter

K1 you have to apply for AOSEAD and AP

CR1 you have to pay green card fees and wait for the process to produce the card

Thanks for the reply. It's CR1. Fee paid before arrival. It is almost 3 months now and still waiting. I have read here that POE matters and that busy ports such as JFK takes longer.

actually Atlanta is the biggest for international travel and POE has nothing to do with green card production

1. Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) - 103.9 Million Passengers. The chief reason why ATL is the busiest airport in the US is its favorable geographic location which makes it perfect as a connection hub.

you state fee paid almost 3 months ago but when did you enter the US to start the proceedure for processing the card?

it would help if you created a timeline so people don't have to ask these questions to help u

Thank you again for your reply. I paid my fees before I entered from JFK 3 months back.

My question is this: If your port of entry was JFK,  how much time did it take for you to receive your physical Green Card?

Appreciate if anyone has the answer to my question.

when did you actually enter the US?   that makes a difference '

when the fee is paid is not the important part as the process starts when you enter

and we got our card exactly one month from day he entered (normal times)

nothing about this is normal now

Again, like I said before, I entered the US 3 months back. Paid the fees before I entered.

and again ,   please create a timeline so no one has to ask your POE date

That is the important date here

but in these times no one can tell you when you will get your green card (for sure)

my friend from Europe came in February to JFK and the card came in 7 weeks

yours?  call USCIS and ask /only they know

I am not asking anything complicated here. Not asking to analyze my case/status. Just one simple question. If your port of entry was JFK,  how much time did it take for you to receive your physical Green Card?

There isn't a set timeline as to when you get the physical card.  If it is under 6 months consider yourself lucky.   Your stamped visa will act as a green card for your first year.
