What should we do if our K1 NOA2 is stuck at NVC due to COVID and we pass our NOA2 4 month validity? There must be lots of people in the same situation. Is the Philippine embassy in Manila automatically extending the validity of the K1 NOA2s?  I see that a person can ask for an extension from the embassy once the NOA2 is at the embassy, but what if one's NOA2 is stuck at NVC? We have our DS-160 filed. Really confused about the next step. Please help.

what is the procedure for extending NOA2 validity beyond 4 months if your case is expiring and still at NVC? My fiancee is in the Philippines

There is nothing to be done at the NVC level.  Even if expired, it will be sent to USEM once requested, and USEM will extend the validity.

I got NOA2'd back in April 2020.  I didn't hear anything from NVC until this April with a Termination letter/email basically asking if we're still interested because we haven't done anything they told us to.  I replied back yes and we didn't do anything because you never contacted us.  The contacted back and said they'd forward once Bogota resumes visa services.  The case was finally forwarded to Bogota on June 8th '21.  I assume they're just sending out whatever form letters they think fit to clear the backlog.
