Hey fellow June filers! Submitted my paperwork on June 25th but still yet to hear anything since Bio appointment. Wondering if anyone with Salt Lake as local office has had any progress

I got my EAD+AP now, but still waiting for the SSN that I ticked the box to get as well. A friend got hers a week after the combo card, but she lives in California so it might be longer where I live. 😇

Still no news about interview, though.

Interview on 19 January didn't go as smoothly as hoped. The field office apparently cancelled our appointment the day before due to Covid shortages but we were not notified. Fortunately after a tense 3 hour wait we eventually got seen.

The officer could not approve on the day as he hadn't reviewed our file in advance, but we received a notification 6 days later that we were approved. Online status changed to 'New Card Being Produced'. Huge relief.

For anyone who has recently received Green Card - did it come with SSN or is this a separate application?

When you get the EAD and have ticked the box that you want an SSN in that application they will get that for you, but if you get your green card first you have to apply for it yourself. That's how I've understood it.

But with that said I'm still waiting for the SSN. I've had the EAD card for almost three weeks now. So I was wondering if anyone on here knows about how long it takes if you live in Chicago? 😇

Hey guys! So we moved to a different state recently and therefore our field office changed as well. Does anyone know how long it takes for the transfer to happen and what that process is? When we chatted with a live agent today, he told us that the address change was successful but our case is at NBC. That confused me because we already had the biometrics done so we're confused why it went from Raleigh, NC FO to NBC and not Raleigh FO to Tampa (our new FO). Can anyone clarify what goes on here?

Got my combo card Jan 14th and SSN like 2 weeks later.

I'm actually hoping the interview takes longer since I just booked a trip to Canada for March to May and so that made me come look up if I might be unlucky and have my interview that soon.

I'm in Atlanta though which seems to be the slowest FO out of the 15 I've looked up on the USCIS website. Ironically hoping for a longer wait time 🤞

No update about the interview so far. But the online status for my I-485 application hasn't been updated at all since they received the payment, so I might just get the letter in the mail one of these days without seeing it online first. That happened to my friend in California recently, so... 😅

I'd love to get the interview "over with", but at the same time I'm nervous about it so a part of me doesn't mind waiting a bit either. I'll probably laugh at my nervousness afterwards, though, and be glad it's over and done with. 😀 I was so nervous for the K1 interview, too, and there really was nothing to be nervous about at all. I guess it just feels like such a big deal.

Thank you for sharing. ☺️

I finally got my SSN earlier this week. It took about 3.5 weeks from when the combo card arrived, so I even ended up calling the Social Security office about it and funny enough it arrived that same day. 😂

FO was San Francisco per the live agent I spoke with yesterday after contacting them about my case being ready to be scheduled for an interview.

Live agent today told me it was for San Jose FO instead. 🙂

Hi all! Been a while since our last update. We moved from NC to FL in January and filed an address change with USCIS. We received our interview notice today for May 13th at our new Field Office! Really excited our nearly 2-year journey is finally almost and hopefully coming to a close! Wish us luck
