Any updates for Washington DC? Our PD date was June 7th and it has been radio silence since the bio appointment. Case has said Ready to Schedule for Interview for over a month. We are starting to get desperate. It is really discouraging knowing certain processing centers only take 5-6 months for a green card in hand, but in DC people who filed October 2020 are just now starting to get AOS interviews.

No, nothing yet... 👀

@stuckonyou let me know when you do! I spoke with a live agent yesterday, and they told me that we were put in the interview queue on 10/4/21. You should ask them and find out!

We had our interview yesterday and got approved.

We were asked only basic questions confirming our name and address, and the security questions from the I-485. The only questions asked about our relationship was how we met, when was the last trip prior to the move and how many times we've visited each other in the past. The marriage certificate was requested in person.

This is our timeline:

June 23 - package sent

Aug 18 - RFE date

Aug 24 - biometrics

Oct 15 - RFE package sent by USPS priority mail with tracking

Nov 1 - notice that they got our package

Nov 2 - interview scheduled

Nov 8 - letter received with the interview date

Our field office is San Fernando CA.

Our EAD/AP was not approved prior to us getting the interview scheduled.

Good luck to everyone!

Thank you for sharing! ❤️

With the security questions, they didn't go through ALL of them, though, right? Because that would have taken forever? 😅

Yeah, I guess I just feel nervous to call them and although I'd probably get some information like you did it still wouldn't make anything faster either way. Or I don't think it would at least. 😅

Which location does it say is working on your case?

Mine says National Benefits Center.

@stuckonyou National Benefits Center because our receipt numbers start with MSC.

You're welcome!

No, just a few of the questions.

Would you mind telling me a little how the interview was? What did they ask and so forth? 😇

Sure. They literally asked everything that was on the I-485 almost line by line. Asked about how we met, why the k1, our wedding, who attended, how many, how our accounts are run, etc

We’ve been in “ready to be scheduled for an interview” since August. There have been no updates on the AOS or EAD. I’ve contacted my congressman and senators and they give me the same info as USCIS. Visa Journey gives us an EAD estimate of 12/26/21. How reliable is this estimate? This wait just to work is unbearable!
