Okay, while I was trying to research the whole back story to this, I googled "Daily Wire AOC" and on page 2 of results I found a collection of Ben Shapiro sexy fan fiction and I do not think my brain will ever recover.  I will not link because it is against the TOS given some of the language in there. The one about Piers Morgan and Ben Shapiro and a vegan sausage roll was just too much.

Maybe you can clear this up for me then. Serious question: I totally get why the right doesn't like AOC's politics. But what has she said/done that would make you believe she's stupid? As I said, she's the ideal of the conservative dream... worked a blue collar job to pay for her education, pulled herself up by her own bootstraps, won a science fair in microbiology, graduated from Boston University, the list goes on. Is she stupid because you don't like her politics?

Two examples to your direct question, The Green New Deal in total, and "When people ask me 'What does a world where we defund the police look like?', I tell them it looks like a suburb.".    As far as her being in the spotlight, I do not want her to ever go away.  Giving her accolades for her accomplishments is fine, but putting her on a pedestal and allowing her to force her socialist ideals is wrong.

To many people, defunding the police means getting rid of them, and based on her other statements about abolishing ICE, it may mean getting rid of the police to her as well.  The fact that she compares a metro police force to a suburban police force and the funding of each is idiotic.  Police agencies are a result of crime, not the cause of it.  She is not the poster child of anything other than educational indoctrination of socialist values, but feel free to maintain your praise of her as she forces her religion on you.  I have a lot more respect for young people that went through the public school system and came out unindoctrinated.  Heck, even her own family is rebutting some of the stupid stuff she has said about this very topic.

"Defund the police" is a terrible marketing strategy. I can see why you'd be confused. I was too, initially.

 

Defund the police doesn't mean abolish the police. What it means is reallocating or redirecting funding away from the police department to other government agencies funded by the local municipality.

This has actually worked very well where it's been implemented. Cambden, NJ, for example.

 

(yes, you can point to extremists who want police abolished and have zero police. That's why they're called extremists. This is not what AOC is advocating for)

 

Again, you don't like her politics and that's fine. You've chosen her stance on policing as an example of why you and others here say she is "dumb" and low IQ. And yet, based on this, the best you can say of her is that she is naive to the realities of policing. So I am just trying to understand what it is she has said or done that makes you believe she is not an intelligent person.
