Hello Mala,

Do not worry about your not calling your husband that much. I know when Mian was in Pakistan it was too costly for him to call me all the time; so 90 percent of the calls on record were from me to him. He used phone cards and they were not of use to us since the consulate did not recognize them. Just get a print out of your husband's calls to you and you should be fine.

Mary

Everything I respond to is from personal knowledge, research or experience and I am in no means a lawyer or do I claim to be one. Everyone should read, research and be responsible for your own journey.

Agreed with MaryandMian: Don't worry, you can submit just your husband's records. My guy also had no records of his pre-paid in India, I just sent him mine from here in USA and we got approved fine with no questions! :yes::thumbs:

yes i too agree with ELW and MARY

go ahead with with ur husbands phone records because in india even if u call from a pre paid u dont get the phone records unless u use a post paid. u may not need to submit the phone records at VFS because i did not and niether did the officer at interview asked for the phone records. u can submitt ur pics at vfs and take the phone records from ur husband to the embassy if the ask fine u show them and there is no need to be embarassed.everbody is aware how things work in india. dont worry everthing will be good

all the best :thumbs::thumbs:

Yup, that will work. My wife only called me a few times from India and I have no records of that but I do have about 230 pages worth of call history from 2006-2007. She is on her way for the medical and submit the paper work at VFS office now. Hope everything goes well!!

You can use your hubby's phone record that has your number in it. It is a proof that hubby calls you regularly and the Embassy won't ask you why you don't have your own phone record, i.e., your calls to USA. I sent my phone record to my wife and she was not asked anything about it. The consular officer just read some of our emails and smiled.
