He even said he would theoretically support a Constitutional amendment to stop busing and, amazingly admitted that he was siding with racists in the Democratic Party.

 

Biden’s legislation passed the Senate on a 50-43 vote, and Biden championed his anti-busing legislation throughout the 1970s. In 1977, he co-authored a bill that dramatically limited the ability of federal courts to order busing. To get it passed, he actively sought the support of leading southern segregationists.

 

A report from the Civil Rights Commission released later that year determined that Biden’s efforts had badly hindered school integration. Even his now-running mate, Kamala Harris, then a young girl, was impacted, and she let Biden know during the first Democratic Presidential Primary Debate last year.

Ah. Ok. Yeah, a lot of what Biden's said and even voted on in the past is very problematic. He has walked much (all?) of this back, and I guess it's really up to voters to decide if he really means it. His actions during his presidency so far are consistent with a person who realizes his past mistakes, but I do agree with you that 1980s/1990s Biden is very problematic. It's one of the reasons a lot of people on the left are uncomfortable with supporting him.

Problematic?  It is interesting how the Dems are able to disavow their overt racism whether it occurred in conjunction with their extremist allies, the KKK, many years ago, or if it occurs today with their CRT allies.

Yeah, quite a few folks are unaware of the racism, under the guise of Critical Race Theory, is being taught to children.  I thought we wanted to eliminate racism in this country?  I guess it is more financially lucrative to the Dems and their race-baiting allies to keep it alive.
