That is a really good question, @Dongbei. It seems like there is no publicly available way to get a receipt date for a case inquiry.

I just checked the processing times and USCIS just updated them.

Yeah, that's the info I saw as well. It looks like MSC would then be in the 21-35.5 months range? That is quite long and very disappointing given that we live in Texas. I'd love to be able to take advantage of that 4.5-6.5 month range!

You know, @Dongbei. It is hard to say, because MSC is not really adjudicating your I-751. It just sits there until they're able to schedule for an interview at your Field Office. I'd say that it really depends on your Field Office and how busy they are. I would suggest just browsing the MSC thread and see what is happening.

There is someone who just filed in January and had an interview in Hialeah, FL. I do not know if that file got sent to MSC first.

I also do not know if MSC waives some interviews. It's worth looking through the thread and see what you find. :)

Hey everyone,

I originally sent our ROC via USPS on June 9th. Two days later, the post office tracking system show that it was coming back to my husband and I in New Orleans, LA.  I went to the post office and ask them why. They potentially said it was miss delivered so it was coming back to me. Then the tracking system said that it was returned and delivered to our home address. No package was delivered, I went to ask them to help me find it. They send me all around town and gave me some phone numbers where no one answered. It was extremely frustrating. I had written a check for the filing fees/biometrics. I got extremely nervous because we still couldn't locate the package, so I put a "stop payment" on the check at least until I could locate the package.

Two days ago, we received our NOA 1. I was shocked. I called my bank immediately to remove the "stop payment" but it was too late. Our application was rejected due to insufficient funds.

Lesson learned, I guess. I have never had a problem with USPS before. So, we sent it again, yesterday, via UPS. We are crossing our fingers that we won't have this type of mistake again with a different carrier.
