I would love to answer this if I felt like there was any open-mindedness about BLM here. But there is not, and I'm not going to waste my time. If you believe BLM are terrorists or whatever, then it's completely worthless for me to try to explain the nuances involved. A forum where people are just circling posts looking for gotchas is a poor tool to educate anyway.

 

But at a very high level, comparing BLM to the insurrectionists who attempted a coup on our government is nothing but an exercise in obfuscation. The two have nothing in common.

Hmm took over Govt  and govt property. Rioted. Targeted groups for violence.  sounds like the same thing to me

When nuance is required it is really telling and only shows that spin is required to try and justify bad actions.  The simple fact is BLM, despite their marketing prowess to get their money, wants to destroy the nuclear family and promote socialism/communism as long as they maintain their power.  BLM in short is just another group using perceived racism to grift.

I was scanning Google News this morning, and apparently he's intrigued with this idea of running for the House in 2022 so he can initiate impeachment proceedings and gum up the works for Biden.

 

Imagine running for public office for the sole purpose of owning the libs.

Actually five people died during the capitol insurrection. Brian Sicknick, a Capitol police officer. Ashli Babbit, an insurrectionist. Kevin Greeson, a would-be insurrectionist. Rosanne Boyland, an insurrectionist. Benjamin Philips, an insurrectionist.

 

Despite most of these people being insurrectionists, I don't dismiss their deaths so easily. Whatever their politics, their deaths matter to me, and they should matter to all of us. Where are you getting this? Five people died, I just named them. Some actually were armed. Federal court records indicate that at least 36 people had a weapon of some sort. Some capitol hill officers were attacked with fire extinguishers and flag poles used as spears. No businesses were destroyed, but the capitol building suffered $30 million in damages.

5 people died, but you failed to mention the causes of death.

 

1) Homicide from SS. 

2) Stroke/aneurism (NOT a fire extinguisher as was claimed by the MSM).

3) Cardiovascular disease.

4) Cardiovascular disease.

5) Acute amphetamine intoxication (aka GFS - George Floyd Syndrome)

 

So exactly ONE PERSON was killed on that day.  All the others would have died anyway, within hours or days of 6 Jan.

 

Also, it wasn't an insurrection.  It was an actual, for real protest, the MOST peaceful one we have seen in the news since Jan 2020.
