Added Joint Sponsor Still Says N/A

Last week I added a joint sponsor. I added her I864 & birth certificate. The website says within an hour it should allow me to upload the financial documents but it is still saying N/A under financial doc section. I called and they said that the system was down and to allow time for it to go through.  Has anyone had this issue?

Dealing with a similar issue, except added household member instead of joint sponsor. Has yours updated yet?

Nope but I just got a message from nvc and they said not to add anything and just to take the docs to the interview so I’m really not sure.  The review note said to add it but email said not to so idk. I’ll just wait until they give me DQ and go from there.  🤷‍♀️

So is it okay to submit the documents for the petitioner and applicant even if the household member or joint sponsor is N/A?

It won’t let you upload anything when it says N/A. I would maybe just wait and see if nvc sends you a message about it. Nvc told me not to upload anything so I really don’t know, but I’d just wait.

you could try calling them but I haven’t been able to get through to anyone for a few days.

I know I can't upload anything for the household member, but I uploaded everything for the main petitioner and applicant already. I haven't submitted those yet. I did send NVC a message through the public inquiry a few days ago. Last time, it took 9 days to get a response. Not sure how long it will take this time...

F2A Visa

I-130 submitted: 03/05/2020

I-130 NOA1: 03/10/2020

I-I30 NOA2: 02/03/2021

DQ at NVC: 06/24/2021

I have the same issue. I tried calling NVC but no luck, I can’t get a live person to answer. Which number did you call?

I got a hold of someone after being on hold for an hour and a half about 2 weeks ago. But I called (603) 334-0700. The last few days I haven’t been able to get a hold of anyone.

How long have you had the N/A message?

I wish I knew about the issue before... I would try adding a joint sponsor sooner. I thought I can just add it anytime.

Are you able to upload civil documents at this point? Mine says n/a under the civil documents tab.

It finally let me upload the civil documents. It was about 2 weeks after adding a joint sponsor.

I was able to finally speak to NVC this morning and I was told that it’s a known issue to them, and there is nothing that can be done but to keep checking ceac every  few days to see if it has been resolved. They do not have estimated time when the issue could be resolved.
