So let me start with my sister’s story

my sister is from Honduras, she decided to come and seek for asylum with her son ( my nephew ) which they denied at the port of entry (Mexico ) so my sister try getting in with a coyote and my nephew was able to get in and be with my mom , I’m gonna be a little clear about my sisters situation since if you know how bad my country is right now you would understand a little better ,there’s so much violence and police don’t do anything about it , my sister has beeen assaulted , robbed , to the point that she has been threatened to death by the child’s father for a long time ....she has paperwork to proof police reports of domestic violence and everything, my sister try to get in by the border a couple of times in which each time she was deported , this last time was different she was trying to cross the river and a police officer started shooting , she ran and hit her head on a rock cutting half of her face  and started to bleed , at the end of the day she was deported again , she is at a hospital in Mexico and my only question is , what can she do to come here by the port of entry? Can she seek for asylum ? Can she do something , as a sister I really want to help her I don’t know what else to do , it hurts me and I’m sure people in here would understand her situation , please help me 😓😓😓😓😓

Nothing you have mentioned suggests she would be eligible.

Has she applied for Asylum in Mexico?

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

Unless her evidence has changed there is no probable change to the outcome.  If she has been asylum in Mexico via COMAR there are other countries that she can try.  At an US POE summary exclusion is often rendered.

hello, so i have a question for someone who can relate or has some experience with it, my sister came by the border with a parole for 1 year in which she is supposed to have a court date for asylum, however, things have changed around the time she got here, the address she gave the immigration officers its not anymore an option simnce she doesnt live there anymore (GEORGIA) , she hasn't been assigned a court date yet, she is now living in florida and we dont know how we can change her address.... or if we can call a number to be able to do that or have a information for the court date? another thing i found strange is she has a file number with a alien number assigned (i'm assuming is a alien number since it comes with an A at the beginning of the number and 9 more digits with it), i wenr online to check her case through the court that it was assigned on the papers but it says it's not valid, is that a normal thing with asylum cases or what we can do to find out whats going on.....I really need help with this , can someone give me answers??? i will really appreciate any help

How did your sister get in, your last post said she was in Mexico after being shot at by border patrol, and was trying to illegally get into the US.  Her son was also illegally entered and is living with your mother.

Yes , she was able to get a parole for a year to be able to apply for asylum inside of United States , her son is illegal right now but she was able to get a I94 admit till next year

She will need a lawyer.  Based on your last post she has no valid asylum reason.

She needs to talk to her Lawyer, not a DIY situation.

Not sure how a lawyer would change the result in this case.

Profile pic - Rainbow Tower of the Hilton Hawaiian Village - Waikiki, Honolulu, Hawaii.

Why this for the profile pic?  Often in movies and on TV when they show Hawaii they show this beach/view. So, instead of doing Kauai or some other locale, we decided to do here, so that whenever some show shows Hawaii and this view, we will see where we were married.

Do you have any local resources that help immigrants with legal issues?  Really sounds to me like she needs the help and guidance of such an organization.  Best of luck.
