Welcome! Yes of course, patience is key but we all feel the pain. Please fill out your timeline.

Sadly, my fiance and I could not make it through this long process. I am still visiting this site out of habit and out of a small hope that maybe we can still be together.

For all the couples waiting, I wish you all the best. I hope no one has to go through the heartbreak of losing someone you love.

If someone wants to take over updating the June excel sheet, let me know. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1hUb8mdiE2N7peEHhU5aUN0r4GXNFBcm5hGHjbGIYr6Q/edit?usp=sharing

Sorry to hear that.

Someone in authority needs to show USCIS  how these long waiting periods are affecting peoples relationship.

All this wait and anticipation is sickening for the heart and for our health.

My fiancée and I can't even sleep well at night knowing well probably have to wait 14 months for only the NOA 2 to come in, when original expected time was 6-8 months.

After that we get to apply for the ACTUAL visa, which might be another 5 additional month wait.

God have mercy if you waited 14-16 months and get a denial.

Unbelievable!

Are you all hanging in there? This glacial pace is killing me! Every time I check my estimate for my NOA2 is pushed back. It’s so disheartening. We all chose the worst time in history to go through this process.

Honestly looking back I should’ve just gotten a court marriage and submitted a marriage visa. This way it would’ve been at the Texas center and already been processed. This California K1 processing is at a snails pace. So frustrated with this process and now that we are so far along I don’t want to change it again.

It would not have been guaranteed that you would have been at Texas. All files are sent to the Texas drop box and then what they do is randomly assign cases to all the centers processing marriage visa. There are Texas cases processing in California , in Vermont etc. So you could have been assigned to Texas could of not. I wish I we did the CR-1 as well, but I have to remind myself that it still could have been a gamble.

Geez another jump in the estimated wait time for my NOA2 - could they be moving any slower???  Grrrrrr.......

Omg I know what you mean. This whole process has been long and depressing. I have been following all the other forums like March, April and May to try to understand what is happening there to try to get an idea for June. But the patterns are no unpredictable. I honestly don't know.

Hi everone,

I just wanted to see how the June filers are doing? It's been stressful watching the March/April people, but let's stay hopeful that things will pick up by the time they hit the June filers! 🙂

I hope so too. I'm a September Filer.

I hope to get a NOA 2 by October atleast.
