Not gonna lie, this hurts because if I had sent mine in 2 days later, I would've been in that group.

that's the most common reason ive seen. 

 

OR they got an rfe and did not follow the instructions uscis sent and therefore denied

 

ie) asked for 2 2x2 passport photos and submitted one with their rfe.
