Our case is a bit complicated and we're looking for a lawyer who is savvy, knows the ropes, is connected and can get the job done (we know it can be done). We just done know how to go about finding such lawyer.

We've called many lawyers (going solely off Google searches) but thus far have been only disappointed. The information they give I could pull up in less than 5 mins with a simply Google search. They don't seem eager to find a solution and just robotically recite basic information. We are looking for an ingengeous lawyer, somone who can think outside the box. Basically a Saul Goodman, if you will, from Better Call Saul.

Appreciate any point in the right direction.

P.s. Already tried the ones (sponsors?) on this site.

What is it you are trying to get done?

Hard to point you to a 'creative' lawyer without knowing which area of immigration law you would like them to be 'creative' about.

There is nothing creative about immigration. You can be either eligible based on your situation or not. If you are not truly eligible I am sure you will manage to find a lawyer to take your money either way.

This is an excellent point.  We have seen this so many times on VJ.....   empty promises made by lawyers who are motivated by money.

Jim Hacking is great. He has a YouTube channel and answers questions live every week. He does his work 100% remotely. If nothing else, he is great to watch on YouTube even if you don't hire him.

Had a look at some of his stuff, seems like he has been around heard it all.

The comments about Nigerian Divorce Certificates were right on point.

My N400 interview was cancelled and on doing research for potential reasons for canceling N400 interviews, Jim Hacking advised in one of his videos, or blogs, paraphrase:  “if your N400 interview was cancelled, there is likely to be a real bad reason for that and you really should consult a competent immigration lawyer. Call me to discuss how I can help you”. Fortunately the next day my interview was rescheduled without me having to call Jim.

The fact that yours turned out differently doesn’t mean the advice he gave you wasn’t right. Jim Hacking is a solid honest attorney.

Just another random guy from the internet with an opinion, although usually backed by data!

I don't think I said he wasn't honest.

Yeah he really seems genuine, too. I have watched a lot of his videos and he really does seem to want to help people.
