Anyone crossing the border to work in Canada?

Hi all,

I’m officially making the move to Washington state to finally be with my husband in July.

I am looking to continue working just over the border at my job in BC.

Obviously now is the worst possible time to be doing this, but that’s life.

Is there anyone that is in the same boat?

I would love to pick your brain on your experience!

One specific issue that has arisen for me is that it seems I’m uninsurable for LTD (long term disability) by the current Canadian carrier I have.

The other being that my employer has never dealt with this situation before and seem to be frozen, like a deer in headlights.
