Happy 4th of July from Ramstein Air Base, Germany. May God bless America. It was a huge, partying crowd at Ramstein, military and their families. When the bugle played Call to Color, a hush went through this wild crowd, all came to their feet and stood at attention in silence...thousands of people, for the playing of the national Anthem. All races and ethnic backgrounds came together as one military family, one American family, to show respect and pride in our great nation, the many as one.

My wife, the soon to be Captain,  and our son and I finally made it to Normandy, France. We saw a lot of places, but here is Omaha beach. Great to be a part of the military family again.
