Here's an other one. Notice Date April 10th. Last touched April 12th. Nothing else so far.

Hello,

How do you know if it is touched? My NOA1 was received May 13th and I would like also to keep track on what's going on with our paperwork.

Any info is highly appreciated.....

Go here to register your petition https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/jsps/index.jsp. You will need your receipt number from your NOA1. Once you have registered there is an option to add you email address to get email notifications if anything changes with your account such as a touch or approval.

Hi,

Just wanted to make sure if I m correct in my thinking from what I observed on CRIS. For me, the "touch" doesn't seem to generate any email notification. I do get a CRIS email if there is a status update on my case but for last two days, I have had a touch on my I-129F(K3) and I dont think I got any email due to that.

Is that what you guys see too or is there a discrepancy?

Thanks for your time and help.

Regards

Pkewl

Yeah actually your correct. I had just assumed that when I signed of for email notifications that it would send one whenever something happened. But after I posted that I did receive three touches and there where no email notifications from them. However I did get a CRIS email when I changed my password.

Good catch. :):):):)

Mailed on March 28. NOA1 is April 9.

We haven't received any touches or anything. I would rather have some touches than none at all. It makes me feel insanely paranoid that they've lost or forgotten our petition. The waiting is driving me crazy- at the very least they should at least let our fiance's come to visit us in the states while the status is pending- that would make the process much less stressful. :crying:

Well, I know it doesn't feel great not being able to visit whenever, but the trade off isn't much better. My fiance is Canadian and I can visit her as time/money permits. However, the Montreal consulate is running 6+ months just to schedule an interview. I'd rather not get to see her but get through 4 months sooner.

Montreal makes CSC look speedy. I'm very thankful that when the time comes, we'll be going through Vancouver. However, I wish that something was being done to balance the workload between our two consulates here in Canada. *sigh*

My fiance has no way to come here LEGALLY. now time and opportunity he has. I on the other hand work full time in retail management and am saving my vacation days for when we have our WEDDING so that I can take off and play host to his family that will be flying in from Japan. I took three weeks off in April to be with him already anyway. :crying: I'm just hoping that we get our NOA2 soon because the Tokyo Embassy seems VERY speedy so the process should be nice a quick once CSC is done with it.

USCIS should notify you when you get your NOA2 and you shouldn't need to phone. If you fill in your timeline Visajourney will give you an estimated date for this based on the average time taken to process cases.

17th March 2010 - Started the removal of conditions process

22nd March 2010 - Application received by CSC

30th April 2010 - Biometrics appointment
