Interview Finally!

Here is the progression

DQ 7/10/20

Interview was originally scheduled for 2/11/21

Medical on 2/8/21flagged for sputum

Medical completed on 4/20/21.

Sent email requesting new appt 4/20/21. No reponse.

Followed @angeljolie's advice and sent email to support-philippines@ustraveldocs.com on 5/10/21 and received an automated response with case number.

After no response I sent another follow up e-mail on 5/19/21 including the case number email I received earlier.

5/27/21 I received our appointment scheduled for 6/5/21. It said expedited but I never requested an expedite. Here is what the email said:

 

Dear Mr./Ms. ____________:

 

We are writing to notify you of an expedited appointment date for your pending immigrant visa case.  We have scheduled you for an expedited visa interview at the U.S. Embassy in the Philippines on 8 June 2021 at 8:30 am. No other applicants and no petitioners will be allowed entry. 

 
Visa applicant(s) should follow all interview preparation instructions located on the Embassy’s websitehttps://ph.usembassy.gov/visas/immigrant-visas/.  Applicant(s) must also complete their medical exam at St. Luke’s Extension Clinic and must be medically cleared for travel to the United States at the time of interview.

Congratulations! Please make sure she shows up on the right date (you wrote 6/5/21 but their letter says June 8).  

 

Please make sure her documents are complete, updated, and accurate.

Whoops, yeah that was typo. She will be there on the right date. We have all documents ready. We have been in relationship for 10 years, married 4 years in October, and 2 children together. I think we have plenty of proof of a bonofide relationship

Thank you! I brought with me 2 heavy bags filled with evidence but was only asked for my husband's divorce document. I'm sure your wife will ace her interview. Good luck!
