Medical Exam for interview

So we finally got our interview scheduled. The interview is scheduled for Monday notification was received today. The local embassy website directs all applicants to have their medical completed the Wednesday prior to the interview. Since Wednesday is tomorrow there is not enough time to schedule and complete the medical exam. After emailing the embassy they stated we cannot reschedule the interview. Does this mean the embassy will allow the interview to go forward and await the completion of medical processing. Also my wife is currently pregnant and we are due on the 9th of June so we are trying to delay the chest X-ray until after delivery’s will this be acceptable?
