Hi everyone! Looking up the 2021 poverty guidelines for a family of my size, which is 5, we'd need to have an income of $38,800. My husband is currently on $36,600 from his base salary, so $2,000 below. But with his bonus work checks because of covid that is added on from his job every week, he is on $43,800 which would be more than enough. My question is, when it asks for income does his covid job bonus get included in this, or just his base pay? We aren't sure as the covid bonus will probably get stopped eventually. But for now, does it count?

If you can prove it on paper then you can list it as “my current income”. Do you have pay stubs that will bear out what you say he receives. Or can you get an employer letter stating that?

You can also make up a $2000 shortfall by showing 3x$2000 in assets. Do you have $6000 in savings to make up the base salary shortfall. If so, provide the written proof.
