Hello!

I am in the US since Feb 2020 with a J1 visa, expired and extended with a Certificate of Eligibility. I want to travel to Mexico which would mean to re-enter the US via automatic visa revalidation. Does anyone has experience with this process during covid-could there by any complications to be expected?

Highly appreciate any advise!

I’m in a similar position entered on a J-1 March 2020, which technically expired March 2021, however I got an extension till September. I’d like to travel outside of the US but my passport visa stamp says it expired March this year so I’m concerned I’ll have issues renter the country. Is anyone familiar with the process?

Glad to hear!
I drove down to Miami airport, which'll be my port of entry to get my paper's checked over and they gave me the all clear.
They did say I'll be pulled aside for further questions but will be admitted after that.
Were you questioned by boarder security?
