Great

i stopped getting stamps in my passports a few years back already … it worried me at first but at that stage GC holders could still access the electronic i94 page and everything was correct on it so I didn’t worry about it.

I checked the electronic I94 page and it says 'No record found for traveler' for the past 5 years!

Please advise!

Last time when I returned it was 8+ months out of US and they had put a remark on the stamping in PP.

So my worry is what happens if consecutively twice am out of US for more than 6+ months?

I am NOT looking at naturalization application now. My ONLY worry is about re-entering OR they admitting me back into US.

CBP cannot cancel your LPR status nor demand you hand over your GC but if they have concern that your travel history reflects abandonment of the LPR requirements, then they will refer you for a notice to appear before an immigration judge .. there you can present evidence in the hope that the judge agrees that you did not intend to abandon your US resistance by your extended trips.

I have got arrival stamps on my passport with GC before. So what has changed now?

I believe the I 94 is for international visitors.

regards,

That answers the question of NO records for past 5+ years for me.

So a picture is all that they took on POE, this time. Hope my entry into US is recorded in their DB.

Look at the term I used again:  at that stage GC holders could still access the electronic i94 page”. The implication obviously being they no longer can. Technically GC holders do not get an i94 so should not have been able to use that but until a couple of years ago, they could. They stopped it at some stage between late 2019 and late 2020.

Yeah so did I, all those ones with ARC scribbled over them, then they stopped it.  I don’t know what changed, just that it did. I assumed something went electronic.
