So your husband got the E2 and you got the EAD, quite a long process assuming EB3 so that will not be an issue for some time.

Simplest thing to check is how long the I94 was issued for.

USCIS do not have a help function, you will get a call center, what is called on here the Misinformation Line.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

Thanks. I just contacted the lawyer. She said our current status is AOS. And I can work and travel as soon as the EAD/AP card is issued, which is currently pending with the USCIS. Still as clear as mud if I should still apply for my current EAD renewal! I was told by them that I needed to initially, regardless of a pending application.

EAD seems to be taking 6 ro 8 months but it is anybody's guess really.

The same way you needed EAD to get a job initially so you need it to continue working.
