size of passport picture

my fiance had his passport picture taken in the philippines and mine here in the US... we both said passport size picture.. but its totally a different size... is that ok?? his is 1 3/8" x 1 7/8 and mine is 2x2... is that ok??

That being said, my wife, then fiancee gave me 1"x2" passport photos full frontal view, I sent them in with the I-129F filing and had no problem. But you can still get an RFE for correct 2"x2" ones though.

My fiancee was given negatives with her pictures, which the paper prints were also too small. So I would be to spec on her pics, I used the negatives that she gave me and had them transferred to a CD at Walmart. After that, I used one of the Kodak machines to make an "ID Card" print that met the very specific guidelines of the passport pictures as required for the Visa/application. Try to do that if you are able. Best wishes-

Good choice! Best to err on the side of caution. Why delay the NOA2 for 4-6 weeks unnecessarily? MS and I received an RFE as a result of the passport photos submitted. One set was not 2" x 2", as stipulated. Delays. Delays. (bleh)
