How can you know someone enough if you have yet to meet?

Everyone has a different opinion, I think I know him well enough to know what I want, I risk him being a different person than he says he is, but I have weeks with him here to find out

There are many things that have to have spouse in person and sign to add them to these things. It is not always possible.

I know that, but providing a LIST of POSSIBILITIES is what I was talking about.

He can wait, he just got to build up the commitment for it. If he doesn't he'll move on, and you'll be in the less riskier situation to deal with.

There are other things that need to be checked out especially marriage questions - is he willing to bail you out if you got in trouble? Is he willing  to help you if you have to have surgery? Etc those will answer your question of how supportive he will be or would he lie just to get the green card?

Since he did tell you he doesn't want to live with you in your country, then it's something going on. He is rushing it, and that's something you could've easily overlooked. It's like a red flag for being blind. Prepare yourself if he doesn't marry you on the first day to see what he is going to do if he is willing to keep a commitment with you or he leave. You don't even know what he got going on at the other end and didn't tell you about it until you find out, that's why getting to know in person speak a whole lot of different levels of what's going on vs what was said online.

Does he have anything with your name on it? If not, then he really don't have anything ready for you.
