My irl case was recently approved for expedite country haiti. The case has been ready since May 10th 2021. They recently worked on it because case was last updated May 19th. But I have yet to receive an interview letter. My question is how long after your expedite case is ready do they take to contact you for interview.

In order to expedite your case, you must have a hardship reason to put your case before that of others. You may request an NVC expedite directly with the NVC public inquiry department at NVCexpedite@state.gov and be sure to include the following information in your request:

List the NVC case number & invoice number in the subject line and in the body of the email.

List NVC Expedite Request in the subject line and in the body of the email.

List the beneficiary’s full name and date of birth in the body of the email.

List the petitioner’s full name and date of birth in the body of the email.

State why you want an expedite in the body of the email.

List at least 2 phone numbers where the beneficiary may be contacted.

Attach the i-130 approval notice and any other documents to support your expedite request: a doctor’s letter, a psychological evaluation.

Im sorry I was looking for a more specific answer, and maybe you don’t feel comfortable sharing that information. I was basically asking on what grounds were you granted an expedite?

Medical is the best way to go. Those are prioritized more above others.

I was granted my expedite due to a family medical emergency (not Covid) that I could prove through letters from multiple doctors/hospitals.

I know medical is the best way to go. Just trying to prove it psychologically

Unless it's physical health condition, I don't think they care much about mental. Although it is as important.

Lot of people are affected with long wait time and looooong backlog.

Needs lots of evidence.

For me, I had 3 reports over 6 months (It came in handy for this case), a doctor letter and my husband also wrote a strong email, concerned about my condition.

You will need evidence and letters & reports from Doctors. Best of luck!
