I had the interview on 19th. We went inside 15 min before our appointment. We were called 20 min after our appointment time. The IO was very friendly. She started looking at I-130 and asked my wife

  1. Name, DOB, place of birth, wedding date, current address

  2. How many times have you been married?

  3. What is his father's name?

  4. What is his mother's name?

  5. Where are you currently working?

She started to look at I-485 and asked me

  1. Name, DOB, place of birth, wedding date, current address

  2. How many times have you been married?

  3. What is her father's name?

  4. What is her mother's name?

  5. When was the last time you entered the US?

  6. Are you currently working at "current workplace"?

  7. I see you are currently enrolled in "this" degree. When are you planning to graduate?

She then asked how we met? She looked at the photos we submitted with the initial application. I had some wedding photos, engagement photos, some with friends and family. I also had timeline photos where I posted just the two of us over the years with the date written on top of each photo ( total around 18 photos over 5 years). She really liked that one and thought it was a good idea to do that. I told her we have more photos if she wants to take a look at them. She told me she doesn't need it and already seen enough.

She then asked around 15 Yes/No questions and asked us to submit any further documents if we like. We gave her our housing contract, current saving account statement, current credit card statement with a letter stating her as an authorized user, joint auto insurance, flight receipt, utility bills for last month. She said everything looked good and asked me to sign I-485 and verbally approved it. She explained the process of removing the condition on the green card. She thanked us and took us back to the waiting room.

My status changed to "New card is being produced" after 3 hours.
